Crystal Lee is a South African writer, editor, and attorney. While freelancing for years as a writer and editor, Crystal pursued her law career. She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, obtained her Masters in Human Rights Law, and practised family and divorce law, and civil litigation. She has since swapped over as a practising attorney to a full-time writer - a decision she considers a privilege. To her, it has always been simple: writing is cathartic and energising, and she wants to spend her life honouring it. She is currently an editor at one of The Big Three credit rating agencies, where she specialises in industry and country risk research sub-editing. Some of her published pieces include poetry, micro fiction and personal essays. Crystal's work is driven by her intrigue in dissecting the human condition and crafting other worlds.
